The Commitment to Maintenance.
A legendary hero is only as strong as the armor they carry. Maintaining a healthy, tangle-free coat is a collaborative mission between the Pet Parent and the Master of the Forge. To ensure your dog remains in peak condition, we ask that all Protectors maintain a consistent brushing routine at home.
The Priority of Comfort.
Should a coat become impacted or matted, the Forge operates under a strict code: Spirit Over Armor. We will always prioritize your dog’s comfort and skin health over a specific length or style. If the armor is compromised, we will safely remove it to allow the spirit beneath to thrive once more.
Kyro's Audit: "Yeah, yeah, 'Armor integrity.' Very heroic. If your dog's a mess, we shave it. Sparky says a warrior's armor must be maintained or it becomes a 'failure of the spirit.' I just think it's a failure of the hairbrush. Whatever, just read the 'I Forgot to Brush' waiver."
Pet Waiver PDFTime is the only resource we cannot re-forge.
The Reservation of the Forge.
When you summon us for your hero's maintenance, we prepare the Forge exclusively for their mission. To keep the fires burning and ensure every hero gets the attention they deserve, we require 24 hours' notice for any changes to your mission assignment.
The Shadow Tax.
If a mission is aborted with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price will be incurred. No-shows—those who vanish into the shadows without a word—will be charged 100%. All fees must be settled in full before the Forge can be summoned for you again.
Mission Delayed.
A hero's timing is the anchor of the Forge. Failure to report at the start of your assigned mission may result in a shortened session, additional late fees, or a full reschedule to protect the work of the heroes following you.
Kyro's Audit: "Honestly, ghosting is just embarrassing. Sparky spends all morning getting the 'flame' ready and then you just... don't show up? Rude. Have you ever used a phone? The glowing rectangle in your pocket? At least tell us you aren't coming so I can add a schedule block for 'being bored' because your dog wasn't here."
The Forge is a sanctuary. To protect the health of all heroes and the Master of the Forge, every warrior who enters must carry the Mark of Immunity (Proof of Rabies Vaccination). We maintain a strictly fortified environment to ensure every mission remains a safe one.
The Law of the Realm.
Per Michigan Law, every dog over 12 weeks old must be vaccinated against rabies. We require the official scroll (paperwork) or a digital transmission (email) from your veterinarian confirming the date of vaccination and the expiration date.
Entry Denied.
To ensure the safety of the Forge, we will not admit any pet without up-to-date veterinary records on file. No exceptions. We keep the fires bright so the legends can stay strong.
Kyro's Audit: "Honestly, showing up without your paperwork is like trying to enter a high-security vault with a crayon drawing of a key. Embarrassing. 0/10 for preparation. I have standards, and 'forgetting the folder on the counter' isn't one of them."
Here at the Forge, we have zero tolerance for fleas, ticks, and other uninvited parasites. These tiny invaders have no place in a hero’s armor or our Forge.
The Parasite Breach.
If hostile entities are detected, we will immediately initiate a mandatory Flea Treatment during the bath. This is a tactical strike—it kills the invaders currently on your dog, but it is not a permanent shield. To prevent a re-invasion, you’ll need to secure your own home base and yard.
The Incursion Penalty.
A surcharge of $15–$45 will be added to your invoice to cover the specialized products and the extra time required to apply the treatment.
The Endless Siege.
Don't let your home become a fortress for fleas. Once they've breached your defenses, winning that war will take months of effort you definitely don't want to deal with. We highly recommend keeping your hero’s preventative shield active year-round.
Kyro's Audit: "Yeah, yeah... 'he just got them from the grass.' Whatever. Fleas are basically tiny uninvited interns who don't even do the dishes and then invite their whole family to stay. Either keep your warrior protected, or pay us to fix your tactical error. Your choice."
Here at the Forge, we honor the long journey. A warrior who has seen a decade of winters carries a legacy that deserves a different kind of shield. For our senior heroes, the mission objective shifts: Comfort over Style.
The Veteran's Rest.
We respect these aged legends and move at their pace. Senior pets receive a specialized timeline, featuring frequent rest breaks and a low-stress atmosphere. We don't rush greatness; we maintain it with reverence.
The Vitality Safeguard.
If a senior hero becomes overly stressed or fatigued, the Master of the Forge reserves the right to end the session immediately. By entering the Forge, you authorize us to prioritize your elder’s well-being above all else. A warrior’s spirit is worth more than a perfect haircut.
Senior Pet Waiver PDFKyro's Audit: "Yeah, yeah, respect your elders. Maybe it’s a rule I actually follow. Sparky says an old warrior's comfort is the highest law of the Forge. If an old dog gets stressed... yeah, the mission's over. Just don't expect me to be this nice to the puppies."
Training rookies, building heroes.
Every legendary warrior begins as a single spark. At the Forge, we offer specialized 'Basic Training' for puppies, designed to forge a lifetime of confidence through tactical patience and positive reinforcement.
The Rookie Initiation.
For the first few missions, perfection is secondary to the experience. The Rookie Initiation is a controlled introduction to the Forge: a gentle bath, low-speed air drying, and a basic orientation with the shears. We prioritize their trust over a finished haircut every time.
The Courage Safeguard.
If a recruit becomes overwhelmed or the 'chaos levels' redline, the mission ends. We are here to build a foundation of bravery, not a memory of fear. To ensure your hero rises through the ranks, we recommend frequent training sessions every 3–4 weeks.
The Rookie Report Card.
After every mission, you’ll receive a Rookie Report Card detailing how your hero-in-training handled the heat and what "homework" is required at the home base to keep their armor maintenance on track.
Kyro's Audit: "Yeah, yeah... a future legend. Right now? They're just fuzzy disasters who don't know which end of the brush is which. 10/10 for the enthusiasm, but they're currently 90% fluff and 10% needle teeth. Don't forget the homework if you want your hero to graduate this century."
The Forge is where 'good enough' is melted down and recast into 'legendary.' All base prices are estimated by the 'Fire' Tier (weight class) and are subject to change based on the complexity of the coat and the time required for the mission.
Tactical Variables.
The Forge is a place of precision. Severely matted armor, excessive behavioral challenges, or the presence of invaders (parasites) will incur additional fees. We will notify you during the mission if the final quote is expected to exceed the initial briefing.
The Value of the Forge.
Our prices reflect our high-quality equipment and products, attention to detail, and the extra time spent ensuring every hero has a memorable experience. When you pay the price of the Forge, you are investing in your hero's journey.
Kyro: "Yeah, yeah... 'the place down the street is cheaper'. Whatever. Fine. Go there and see if they have a literal Fire Protector and Shadow Warrior on staff. Spoiler: They don't. You get what you pay for at the Forge. Precision has a price. Deal with it."

The Ember Credit: A $5 credit for both you and your recruit.
The Mission: For every new hero who completes a full service and mentions your name, you earn a Forge Credit.
2. The Loyal Hero.
The Shadow Task: Secure a recurring mission every 4 weeks.
The Ember Credit: A $5 Loyalty Credit applied to every session.

The Ember Credit: Your Tenth Metal Claw Edge is free.
The Mission: We recommend an edge every 3–4 weeks. No full mission assignment needed, but a digital transmission (call) is appreciated. Pick up a physical quest log at your next visit.
Kyro's Audit: "Do not let Sparky give out unlimited free grooms. If someone refers 20 people, they don't get to live here for free. One discount a session. We're running a Forge, not a charity."
When your hero completes their time at the Forge, you won't just receive a clean dog—you will be handed an official Mission Report. This physical card is a detailed breakdown of how your hero handled their armor maintenance.
Objectives Achieved.
The specific services and enhancements completed during their mission at the Forge.
Hero Spirit (Behavior).
An official temperament rating evaluating your hero's cooperation, focus, and courage during maintenance.
Vital Overview.
A critical summary of any health concerns or areas requiring future vigilance.
Armor Evaluation.
An analysis of your hero's coat and armor condition.
Final Review.
A tactical review by one of our team members, providing a personal assessment of your hero's overall performance during the mission.
Kyro's Audit: "Yeah, yeah, a tactical review. Basically a nice way of telling you whether your "fearless guardian" had a mental breakdown over a pile of shampoo bubbles. Hey, I run quality control here, but if I'm bored enough, you just might get lucky and get rated by Lily instead."
