When a hero's armor becomes severely matted or pelted, it is no longer protective—it is a burden that traps moisture, irritates the skin, and restricts movement. In these cases, the "Steel" or "Shadow" grades are no longer an option. For the safety and comfort of your hero, the Forge Master will perform a Forge Reset—a very short shave to safely remove the damaged coat.

This foundational training ritual is specifically designed to introduce young heroes to the sights, sounds, and tools of the Forge. We prioritize building confidence and trust over speed.
Gentle Hearth Bath: A soothing, deep-cleansing wash using hypo-allergenic oatmeal shampoo and moisturizing conditioner.
First Airflow Introduction: A low-speed blow dry paired with a relaxing brush-out to build positive associations with the noise.
Tactical Trim (Face, Feet, & Sanitary): Light scissor work to clear the eyes, neaten the paws, and tidy the private area.
Finishing Polish: Gentle ear cleaning, claw trim, and quick claw buffing to protect tender paws.
The Hero’s Medal: A special rookie bandana, bowtie, or flower.
The Target Age: for puppies.
The Mission: To set your puppy up for a lifetime of stress-free grooming visits.
Full haircuts are not performed during this initiation to ensure the rookie is not overwhelmed on their first adventure.

Added to the base price for dogs who require extra time, steady patience, and focused breaks to handle the styling tools.
A handling fee for highly intense, aggressive, or combative adventurers who require maximum effort to safely complete their armor maintenance.
Late Pickup Protocol: We require your hero to be picked up within 45 minutes once their mission is complete. Beyond 45 minutes, a tracking fee of $1 per minute applies. Any pickups occurring after official closing hours will trigger a $35 flat after-hours fee.
Cancellation Notice: We require a minimum of 24 to 48 hours' notice for all cancellations or schedule adjustments. Late cancellations are subject to a penalty fee of up to 50% of the total service cost.
No-Show Penalty: Failing to arrive for your scheduled session without notice directly disrupts the Forge schedule. No-shows are subject to a penalty fee of up to 100% of the total service cost before a new quest can be booked.
